More 2009 weddings

We had too many great weddings in 2009 I have to break my review of 09 into multiple posts. Here are a few more weddings from 2009, it was a great year thanks again to all of our great clients for letting us into your special day.

Crystal Springs Golf Course wedding

It was awesome this year to have a wedding on a wednesday (9-9-9), the creativity of a wedding always inspires me and I honestly think I could shoot 5 weddings a week and just love it. Sometimes I get bummed that weddings are only during the weekends (or Fridays). This was a treat to get out and be creative in the middle of the week and it was a great wedding for Nancy and Andrew. The wedding was at Crystal Springs Golf Course which has beautiful views of the mountains and a lake below. The light after the ceremony was getting a little bit low so I was able to create some really cool backlit shots of them in a dry grass field that was right to the side of the ceremony location. Here are a couple of shots of the day:

Congrats Alex & Sarah

We had such a great wedding with Alex and Sarah. It was a beautiful day from start to finish and really a fun group to work with. They were married at their church and had the reception at her parents house which was a perfect setting for a wedding. They had so many really cute details from the table cards hanging from a lace ribbon to the homemade jam on the tables it was really a perfect day. There are a lot of shots that are my favorite so I will try and keep it to my top 10.

The light at the end of the night was so amazing. We setup a few quick lights to light up them and then let the sun just glow in the background. There is one more with the sun that I think was my favorite out of them all, i’ll post that one later along with some tech details of the shot for all of the photo buffs out there.
