Crystal Springs Golf Course wedding

It was awesome this year to have a wedding on a wednesday (9-9-9), the creativity of a wedding always inspires me and I honestly think I could shoot 5 weddings a week and just love it. Sometimes I get bummed that weddings are only during the weekends (or Fridays). This was a treat to get out and be creative in the middle of the week and it was a great wedding for Nancy and Andrew. The wedding was at Crystal Springs Golf Course which has beautiful views of the mountains and a lake below. The light after the ceremony was getting a little bit low so I was able to create some really cool backlit shots of them in a dry grass field that was right to the side of the ceremony location. Here are a couple of shots of the day:

Congrats Alex & Sarah

We had such a great wedding with Alex and Sarah. It was a beautiful day from start to finish and really a fun group to work with. They were married at their church and had the reception at her parents house which was a perfect setting for a wedding. They had so many really cute details from the table cards hanging from a lace ribbon to the homemade jam on the tables it was really a perfect day. There are a lot of shots that are my favorite so I will try and keep it to my top 10.

The light at the end of the night was so amazing. We setup a few quick lights to light up them and then let the sun just glow in the background. There is one more with the sun that I think was my favorite out of them all, i’ll post that one later along with some tech details of the shot for all of the photo buffs out there.

Half Moon Bay Golf Links Preview

Here are just a few of my favorite shots from our wedding at the Half Moon Bay Golf Links a few weeks ago.  Congrats David and Wynn, your wedding was such a perfect day!

I love it when I have such a fun and happy bride and groom, David and Wynn had lots of time for photos of them and we got to take a golf cart around the property for awhile to capture some really fun images of them.  This will be part 1 I picked out too many images that I want to share and don’t want the post to scroll forever so will break it down into 2 posts.  Post #2 coming on Monday, i’ll post the slideshow soon!

Willow Heights Mansion Morgan Hill

Congrats to Luis and Maria who were married at Willow Heights Mansion in Morgan Hill.  The theme for the wedding was classic hollywood and  they fit the part of a classic glamourous hollywood couple!  What a beautiful day from start to finish.  We started out with Maria and the girls at Santana Row for some getting ready shots and then headed over to willow heights to shoot some cool shots of the guys around the country looking roads by willow heights.  Maria showed up in style in a classic Rolls and the ceremony was a nice afternoon ceremony at the outdoor gazebo.  After the ceremony we had some family shots and then a few minutes for some photos of Luis and Maria in from of the Mansion with the car.  The wind kicked up a little so we also were able to grab some fun shots of the veil in the wind and with the help of Amy from Twitterpated weddings got some cool veil shots!

Here are a couple of the awesome vendors we got to work with that made the day all come together:
