Congrats John and Janice – Sunol Valley Golf Course Wedding Photos

We had an awesome wedding last month for Janice and John at the Sunol Valley Golf Course. It was also great to see some of our past clients there, I photographed one of Johns groomsmen’s wedding (Brian and Keri at Leal Vineyards) and then another one of their friends (Christina and Ricardo) so this was the 3rd wedding with this group of friends. They are a fun group of people and this wedding was no exception. Lots of great times and some good chair dancing that was a perfect end to the night. Check out this quick highlight slideshow! Congrats John and Janice your wedding tuned out awesome!

Los Gatos Engagement Session

I had a fun engagement session last month with Sam and Chrystal going around Downtown Los Gatos. They brought their dog which was really great to include in some of the images and we got to walk around and explore some cool spots around Los Gatos. I always love photographing around that area and end up finding some cool new spots every time. I can’t wait for their wedding coming up soon!

Awesome vintage style San Francisco Engagement Shoot

When I first met with Sean and Reyna I was excited about their vision for the engagement shoot. It’s always so much fun to do a shoot that is a little different and has more of their personality into the shoot rather than just photographing some place because its beautiful. They had in their mind the classic 50′s shot of the sailer in times square kissing a girl and we planned on photographing around the Presedio for a cool vintage style shoot. We found some great spots and even a few that I have never noticed in the many times of shooting around that area and got some great shots of them. We even found a house that had a classic car parked in front of, just for us :)

Enjoy a quick little slideshow of some of the highlights.

San Jose Maternity Photos

One of the coolest things about being a photographer is the connections that you make. I get to witness first hand some of the most important parts of peoples lives, its pretty amazing to watch a family that’s just starting out and watch it grow. For me I usually first do a photoshoot for a couple when they are engaged. The engagement session is always a fun photo session that lets me spend some quality time with the couple and start to get to know them. On the wedding day I am usually there from the getting ready moments up until the end of the night. Spending time in the room with the girls getting ready, the guys beforehand and all of the family really brings you in to this personal, private space for families and lets you connect with them. After the wedding most of the times I feel like part of their family (maybe that crazy uncle with the camera always). But then after the wedding I still get to experience some great moments and share in them with my clients. They get pregnant, have babies, grow their family, have an anniversary, the list goes on and on and while all of these huge milestones are happening I am right there creating lifestyle photos of them to cherish and remember the day forever. No words can describe how cool that really is.

So today here are a few images of Sherri and Steve who are about to have their first baby! Congrats guys, you will be awesome parents.

Cool downtown engagement shoot

We shot a awesome engagement shoot downtown recently that was a blast. We even got to include their dog in a few of the shots (props to G-Money he did a great job modeling)! We setup the shoot to be at the
end of the day to get a few images at dusk and then the rest of the shoot at night, there were some really cool little spots we found to shoot at and a great alley way that was perfect for an evening shoot. Here are just a couple
of my fav shots from the e-session, I can’t wait for the wedding guys :)
