Don and Jayne were married at the beautiful Chaminade resort in Santa Cruz. Such an amazing day for the two of them, it was a perfect and clear day in Santa Cruz with a great group of their family and friends. People came from all over the country and world to be a part of their day and it couldn’t have turned out any better. Thanks for having us as a part of your day!

We posted the slideshow to Jon and Kara’s awesome wedding at Chaminade a little while back and wanted to post some of the shots of the day. Here are a few of my fav’s: The Chaminade resort is located in Santa Cruz with sweeping views of the coastline. Weddings at Chaminade are utterly captivating. Take your vows amidst the seasonal floral displays and beautiful arbor of the Spanish Courtyard Terrace or gather for a sunset reception on The Sunset Patio featuring dramatic views of rolling wooded hillsides and the ocean on the horizon. It was a perfect spot for Jon and Kara’s wedding, they are a fun and vibrant couple. I had such a blast at the wedding, just laughing, smiling and crying with them all day long!

Our wedding season starts to wind down at the end of this month and we are ending with a bang.  This year we have a few weddings in November and December but its not the every week that we have been shooting since May.  October has been crazy busy with some really great weddings and this past weekend was no exception.  It started on Friday with a fun wedding at the Chaminade in Santa Cruz, it was a beautiful day with clear skies a perfect fall day in Santa Cruz.  Saturday we were back at the coast at the Lodge at Pebble Beach for a very intimate wedding with about 50 people.  It was a beautiful wedding at such an amazing location.  The Lodge is on the 18th hole at Pebble beach and it’s really one of the best views out there to get married at.   The weekend ended with a engagement shoot at Vasona Park in Los Gatos and then home to hang out with the family.  This week will be busy with all of our post production work and album creation!  I’ll have some more slideshows to share later on in the week and some great shots from the past month so stay tuned!

We had such a great wedding a few weeks ago for Sean and Karla.  Karla was originally from SC but now lives in NY where she met Sean and it was a great mix of Santa Cruzers and New Yorkers.  The wonderful Heidi Hughett from Couture Celebrations was the coordinator and really put together a great team of professionals for the wedding.  (as a side note, anyone thinking of hiring a coordinator just do it, it’s really a great investment in  your special day.  Good coordinators can help you put together a team of professionals that will make your day perfect.  There are so many vendors out there that might have a great website but not much else so a coordinator can really save you from some bad decisions).

Anyway back to the wedding  They were married at the beautiful Holy Cross Church (where my parents were happily married over 35 years ago) and the reception followed at the Chaminade.  In between we went over to west cliff drive for some photos of the bridal party and Sean even broke out the ukulele to sing to Karla!  Here are just a few photos of the day, the slideshow is coming soon:
