Sometimes with a great wedding photo it’s all about that perfect timing. As a wedding photographer I have to wear hundreds of different hats for every wedding. Part of the day you are acting very creative and thinking up unique ways to capture the feeling of whats going on at that moment. Other times you are acting as a photojournalist and documenting the day as it flys right by you at the speed of light. Even though you might be in this documentary mode you still have to think ahead to preconceive whats going to happen and be at the right place when it does happen. Still no matter how hard you try to preconceive a shot sometimes the moment just comes together perfect. This shot was quickly taken as the brides car left the hotel to head over to the ceremony and the reflection, her look, just everything fell into place perfectly for this one single frame.

2009 it was nice to know you, you came quick, flew by in a second and are already a distant memory. We were able to shoot a lot of really amazing weddings in 2009, got to see some of our past clients and friends at weddings and made some new friends along the way. Thanks to all of our great clients for letting us into your lives, a wedding is such a huge day in your life and we are grateful to be able to capture memories of your day. It’s always hard for me to pick some highlights of a full year, I have so many favorites from each day that I normally have a list in the thousands of what I love. So here is a quick little show with some of our highlights of 2009.
