Another year and some great weddings that we were able to capture. It’s always so amazing to be able to use my creative gift at weddings and if so fulfilling to the artistic side of me, weddings really are my favorite thing to photograph and after 13 years I still get so much joy out of every single wedding that I am able to capture. I can’t believe that another year has just flown by. Sitting around the living room on Christmas day and watching the kids open their presents I really couldn’t believe that the year is almost done. It’s been a crazy busy year and now a few weeks of slowness so we can catch up on all of our albums and post production work. Once of my resolutions coming up in the new year will be to blog a little more regularly again. I hope that everyone had an amazing Christmas and is getting ready for a good New Years! We wish you all the best and Thanks to all of our great clients in 2011 for allowing us to capture your special weddings and portraits! I am always grateful and feel blessed to be allowed into your lives.

Villa Montalvo in Saratoga is just one of those magical places to have a wedding at. Originally the house of James Duval Phelan a mayor of San Francisco and then US Senator, the house and surrounding area are really a picture perfect place to get married at. There are so many little areas around here to photograph that are a never ending source of artistic inspiration. We had another really great wedding out at Leal Vineyards recently for Sam and Chrystals wedding. From the cutest ring bearer “chancho” to the candy bar filled with sweet treats it was a fun day with a really great group of family and friends. Here is a quick view of some of the highlights of their day!

I really can’t get enough of photographing weddings and especially when I have such great clients. It really is amazing to be around couples that truly care and love each other. When you can feel it right when you meet them you know its real. Natalie and Matt’s wedding in Carmel Valley was just a perfect day, they are such a cute couple together and super sweet. You can tell that they have a love for each other that is real and strong. Congrats guys and thanks for having me as a part of your wonderful day!

We had an awesome wedding last month for Janice and John at the Sunol Valley Golf Course. It was also great to see some of our past clients there, I photographed one of Johns groomsmen’s wedding (Brian and Keri at Leal Vineyards) and then another one of their friends (Christina and Ricardo) so this was the 3rd wedding with this group of friends. They are a fun group of people and this wedding was no exception. Lots of great times and some good chair dancing that was a perfect end to the night. Check out this quick highlight slideshow! One thing that I have been excited about for awhile is the blending of HD video and still into a cool multimedia piece that I have been calling “Reel Life”. It can add so much more depth to a wedding to include a few snippets of video and audio to bring back the memories of the day. Here is a quick preview of Ryan and Jeanette’s day at Leal vineyards, such a beautiful wedding!
