We are back from our annual trip out to Las Vegas for the WPPI convention.  Wppi is an international group of photographers and they have an amazing conference and trade show every year in Vegas.  Its always a fun time to see some photo friends from around the world, talk with our amazing vendors we use and see some inspirational talks.  This year was another great year, we got to hear some awesome photographers speak and hang out with some of our photo buddies.  We have some very cool things coming up soon, and a brand new website in the works, so watch out for some exciting things to come!

We are getting ready to release our new workshop schedule for spring but first I would like your feedback on what dates/times work best for you.  Anyone who is interested in our workshops leave us a quick comment below with the best day of the week and time for you to attend a workshop.  In the past our workshops have been full day workshops normally on a Friday, but I would love to hear from everyone to see if a different day would be better or maybe a 1/2 day in the evening instead of a full day?

I love to share my passion for photography and workshops let me teach in a very small enviornment (normally about 4-6 people).  There are workshops for weddings and portrait photography along with photoshop skills.

I love to share my passion for photography and to teach.  I think one day when I “retire” (I love to work so will never really stop working, just one day I am sure I will slow down a little with weddings) I would love to just teach photography.  Some of my teachers in High School photography and college made a big difference in my life and helped me to be the photographer I am today.  

We have been having workshops here in the studio for about 2 years now and I really enjoying sharing what I have learned over the past 9 years doing weddings with others.  This summer was so busy with weddings that we couldn’t do any workshops but are going to be revamping our workshop site soon with new info and dates.  I’ll post more info on the blog later when the site is redone, so check back later.

Wedding Photography Workshops

Also as a side note, I know there are a lot of workshops available for photographers today.  I have attended many in my  years of business, some which were very  helpful and others which were not.  Some photographers seem to focus more on workshops than weddings and really have little wedding photography experience.  If you are thinking about attending any other workshops I would first ask the photographer a few questions like how long they have been in business, how many weddings do they shoot per year… just to get an idea of really how successful they are as a photographer.
