Silver Creek Country Club Wedding Photos

If you haven’t been up to Silver Creek Country club for a wedding before its a beautiful wedding venue in San Jose. I photographed a wedding out there earlier this summer for Winnie and William and it was such a perfect wedding. Winnies smile just radiated all day and the entire group of family and friends were a blast to work with. Congrats Winnie and WIll your day was amazing and I was honored to be a part of it.

Here is a slideshow of their Silver Creek Country Club wedding. To view another wedding we photographed at silver creek go here: Silver Creek Country Club Wedding Photos

The Ranch Golf Club

We have shot a few amazing weddings out at the Ranch golf club the last few months. It’s a very beautiful location and I have sung its praises many times on my blog. To check out some of my comments on the ranch just do a search above for the ranch and view some past weddings. We also have a few past slideshows on this page here: The Ranch Golf Club Wedding Photography.

Enjoy a recent slideshow from the Ranch here. Congrats Sharon and Calixtro on a beautiful wedding and thanks for having us as a part of your big day!

Congrats Chan and Kao!

I knew when I first met Chan and Kao that their wedding was going to be amazing and it sure did turn out to be a great day. When I first met Chan the story on how they found me was one of the coolest stories I had heard. A couple years ago while my wife was pregnant with our baby girl we decided it was time for a new car. After the usual driving around from car lot to car lot we finally found a few cars we were interested in. After going through a few test drives we decided on a car and starting the normal dealings with the sales guy. He was a pretty nice guy and we started chatting about work and life… I found out he was engaged and told him he had to check out my work. He responded that he would take my card but his fiance already found someone that she liked so couldn’t promise me anything. I told him not to worry I am the best, but was thinking who is this other photographer his fiance already wants to book and hasn’t even met with yet. To make a long story short, Chan had been viewing my site and blog for awhile already and wanted me to shoot their wedding. So when her fiance came home from work that day and set down my card on their table she was shocked when she saw it. She asked Kao where he got my card and then told him that I was the photographer she had been talking about! Crazy story I will never forget.

Kao and Chan are such a sweet couple and they really had an amazing wedding. The hotel ballroom was transformed into an amazing display, words can’t even describe it. You will all have to wait just a little bit longer for the photos. In the meantime here is a quick shot of Chan and I as they were taking down the photo booth.

Congrats guys!

La Rinconada Wedding

Congratulations Damien and Melissa on a beautiful wedding! They were married at La Rinconada in Los Gatos and it was a perfect day; typical great california weather a fun group of family and friends, it all came together for a wonderful wedding. We also got to work with some of our favorite vendors for the wedding. First off it was at La Rinconada golf course which is a beautiful location to have your wedding, aside from the golf course and scenic views you have a building that photographs so well, lots of arches and little detail that for an artist are so nice to have to work with. If you are looking for a wedding venue give Richelle a call there (408-395-4181) and check them out online at http://www.laRinconadacc.com. We also got to work with one of our favorite DJ’s, Dan and Cassie from Los Gatos DJ’s, they always keep the party going and people were having a blast out on the dance floor at this wedding!

San Jose Maternity Photos

One of the coolest things about being a photographer is the connections that you make. I get to witness first hand some of the most important parts of peoples lives, its pretty amazing to watch a family that’s just starting out and watch it grow. For me I usually first do a photoshoot for a couple when they are engaged. The engagement session is always a fun photo session that lets me spend some quality time with the couple and start to get to know them. On the wedding day I am usually there from the getting ready moments up until the end of the night. Spending time in the room with the girls getting ready, the guys beforehand and all of the family really brings you in to this personal, private space for families and lets you connect with them. After the wedding most of the times I feel like part of their family (maybe that crazy uncle with the camera always). But then after the wedding I still get to experience some great moments and share in them with my clients. They get pregnant, have babies, grow their family, have an anniversary, the list goes on and on and while all of these huge milestones are happening I am right there creating lifestyle photos of them to cherish and remember the day forever. No words can describe how cool that really is.

So today here are a few images of Sherri and Steve who are about to have their first baby! Congrats guys, you will be awesome parents.
