Our wedding wednesday post this week is a quick recap of the amazing Una Bella Sera event last weekend. If you weren’t able to make it you missed out on another beautiful event put on by two of the best in the wedding industry, Crystal Lequang from Amazae Special Events and Nicole Ha from Nicole Ha Designs. They are two very creative and talented people that always amaze me with the designs they create for this event. It’s a collection of some of the best of the best in the industry and they setup the coolest designs you will ever see. This year there were 4 main design rooms that were all really unique and pretty breathtaking. Here is just a little glimpse into their designs, look out for more images coming soon!

Mothers day is coming up quick, what are you going to do for your mom this year? Mothers day is always a special time because moms have made such a difference in most of our lives. This year to help celebrate mothers day we are going to be offering some portrait specials just in time. I know the biggest gift you can give a mom is a portrait of your family. Ok, I know Easter was already 2 weeks ago and this post is awhile over due but better late than never right?
I have to admit that personal photos can sometimes sit on my computer for months before I look at them yet alone do the retouching on them. Easter this year was pretty amazing because it was the first year Faith could really try and join the easter egg hunt. We tried to put her in the hunt last year but since she wasn’t walking yet that didn’t really work out too well. This year was a little better but she still didn’t quite get what to do. With a little help from me she did grab up a few eggs before the bigger kids were let outside and had a lot of fun. I think she actually had more fun just swinging in the swing at my wife’s aunts house, she loves speed and flying around!

I am stoked to share this slideshow of such a cute new family! I have been doing more and more lifestyle portrait sessions over the last few years and enjoy them so much. I think one thing that even makes them more special than before is I know how important they are to people. Having children has changed so many things about me and really made me realize how amazing certain moments can be to be captured forever. Looking back at photos of Faith at 3 months, 6 months and on brings such a smile to my face. I can relive all of the fun and crazy moments of her first year of life!

This was a very fun shoot down at the beach in Capitola with the cutest little one. The light at the end of the shoot was incredible and just gave me goosebumps when I was shooting it Enjoy a little highlight video here:
