Happy New Year 2010

To everyone who has followed my work for over the years, thank you and a Happy New Year to you all! I can’t believe 2010 is coming to an end. It started so crazy with the birth of our son and I really can’t believe how fast this year really went. I was able to capture so many great memories for our wonderful clients and create some really cool art. As I continue to always evolve as an artist I look back at some of the work created this year and am Thankful to all of you for giving me the opportunity to capture some of the most important moments in your life. I have lots of photos from the end of the year to share and starting on Monday going to post a new image every day for everyone, so check back daily to watch some of the highlights from the end of this year!

Happy New Years Everyone!

Creating art in the rain

One thing that can never stop me from creating art is the weather. For weddings you never know what you will get for weather, sometimes its a nice calm day other days storming like crazy. Always wanting to use what I have to my advantage at a wedding sometimes you can have fun with bad weather and still create some pretty amazing images. At this wedding it was raining and we couldn’t go to some of the places at Leal Vineyards that are scenic spots to shoot at, but instead of letting the rain get in the way of the shoot I used it to my advantage and created this image of the bride and groom at the end of the night under an umbrella, with the drops of rain behind them it was one of my favorite images of the evening.

Bay Area Lifestyle Portraits

I love it when I get to photograph a family with their extended family members (pets). Pets really are a part of a family and it can make for such a fun shoot with dogs, its always unpredictable but so fun and this shoot was great. It was great to explore around Vasona Park in Los Gatos with Greg and Rachael and their two really well behaved dogs. For having two dogs at a park (with ducks, birds, kids and lots of distractions) they did amazing. Master Chef the big guy was a totally lovable guy and the other one Cortana did great also. Here are just a few highlights of the shoot:
