We posted the slideshow to Jon and Kara’s awesome wedding at Chaminade a little while back and wanted to post some of the shots of the day. Here are a few of my fav’s: The Chaminade resort is located in Santa Cruz with sweeping views of the coastline. Weddings at Chaminade are utterly captivating. Take your vows amidst the seasonal floral displays and beautiful arbor of the Spanish Courtyard Terrace or gather for a sunset reception on The Sunset Patio featuring dramatic views of rolling wooded hillsides and the ocean on the horizon. It was a perfect spot for Jon and Kara’s wedding, they are a fun and vibrant couple. I had such a blast at the wedding, just laughing, smiling and crying with them all day long!

Here are a few more of our recent family portrait shoots. As a proud pappa of the cutest 15 month old it has really opened my eyes to how fast children grow and how important it is to capture good images of them at their different stages. Although I generally prefer to be on the other side of the camera most of the time, the one exception I will make is with my little cutie. I don’t mind taking photos with her because she is just so darn cute she even makes her daddy look alright The trees in front of our house have just been amazing lately and full of color. Unfortunately lately I have been in the office all day trying to crank away on album designs and meeting with clients so haven’t had much time to go outside to shoot photos. The other day I just had to sneak out for a few minutes and had my wife grab a few quick shots of Faith and I.

Just a quick thanks to all of our awesome clients!!! We love you! As the year is wrapping up we only have a few more weddings this year, just wanted to say thanks to all of our wedding and portrait clients from this past year. It was another amazing year and I am always thankful to be able to do what I love to do every day. Can’t wait for some more great weddings coming up in 2010!!!

We had a fun after wedding photo shoot with Edgar and Michelle a few weeks ago. It’s always so much fun to do a shoot after the wedding, you have no stress or people trying to get your attention every second. Its just me and the bride and groom getting great photos and always a good time, we always have plenty of time, there are no distractions and we can just focus on natural awesome images of them.
