We will be at the Modern Bridal Fair today at the Santa Clara Convention center.  The bridal fair will be from 11:00-4:00 so if you are nearby stop by to say hi.  We are going to be at the Leal Vineyards booth one of our faviorate places to shoot at, so stop on by.

We are back from our annual trip out to Las Vegas for the WPPI convention.  Wppi is an international group of photographers and they have an amazing conference and trade show every year in Vegas.  Its always a fun time to see some photo friends from around the world, talk with our amazing vendors we use and see some inspirational talks.  This year was another great year, we got to hear some awesome photographers speak and hang out with some of our photo buddies.  We have some very cool things coming up soon, and a brand new website in the works, so watch out for some exciting things to come!

Simon and Shan were married at one of our favorite local spots Testarossa Vineyards in Los Gatos.  They had a very intimate wedding with family and close friends in the wine cave, it was a perfect setting for their day.  Check out the slideshow here:

We love designing wedding albums.  The creation of an album for us is a very artistic process where we take into consideration the style of the day and create a custom design for every wedding that really tells the story of the day.  It is such a fun and creative process and in the end every bride gets an amazing book to bring back all of the memories of her wedding day.  I just posed a new page with a recent album layout, check it out here:

the reason I love what I do ….
I love a fast pace. I am a multi tasker to the tenth degree and I found a career that appreciates that. Not to mention that I am obsessed with great parties. I love having a new family every week to support and watching the bliss on our clients faces as they enjoy the party we worked so hard to plan. And I love seeing a vision realized. That’s pretty fantastic. I am a natural director so it was this or showbiz!

best wedding memory …
Wow, that’s hard. My wedding was the best one I can remember but that’s a given! I will say that my favorite moment is just before we send a Bride down the aisle. The nerves, the tears, the glow. I always tease the Dad (or who ever is walking them down) to give the Bride some last minute advice, and then I remind the Bride to breath and take in the moment because the rest of the day is going to fly by!

favorite movie …
Breakfast at Tiffianys. I made my husband watch it with me before I married him.

last movie rental you watched …
The Dutchess. Made me thankful and made me cry.

where can you be found on days off …
What day off? Playing with my kids, checking out the farmers market and watching movies with my husband.

what superhero would you be …
I always wanted to be Supergirl when I was young (probably because she had blond hair like me). It would be cool to be able to fly and use all those abilities to get the long list I have daily done!

if I am typically craving something it is ….
Chocolate, Coffee, Cheese and Wine. The basics.
