A wedding at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga

Joey photographed a great wedding out at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga. What a great place to get married at and they have recently finished some pretty huge renovations over there that were done very well. Now along with the perfect views of the valley, there are some nice new details to the venue like new stonework and a great backdrop for your ceremony.

Another wonderful Testarossa Wedding

Testarossa Vineyards is one of our favorite places to work at. It’s such an intimate setting for a wedding and the stonework and wine cave are just amazing for a wedding, it really creates a romantic feel for your special day. Here is a slideshow from the last wedding we did out there, congrat’s Dan and Tina!!!

A Chupacabra in our pool?

OK, I admit I might not really believe in the infamous Chupacabra (the legend says it is supposed to eat goats blood or something like that). But today I was a little perplexed by some foot prints I found in our pool. With wedding season going full blast for the past few months and a newborn baby my free time is long gone. So some of my fun household to-do’s have been totally ignored for awhile. One of them being taking care of the pool. During the busy season I never have time to use it anyway but still try and keep everything nice and clean just incase I have the urge to jump in. Last week I noticed the water looking a little murky so wrote a little post it on my desk so I would remember to clean it. Well a few days later and the post it is covered with other papers, then the weekend comes packed full of weddings and I totally forget about the pool.
This afternoon I take a little break from editing and walk outside to see some nice green algae forming on the sides of the pool and the steps. I grab some pool shock and head downstairs to take care of it, when I find some very strange footprints set in the algae on the top step.
Our neighbor came over yesterday to warn us she saw a bobcat on the street and to keep our cats in so my first reaction was it must have been the bobcat looking for a tasty dinner and trying to get our cats. After I looked close they were very strange prints almost looked like a little human foot for the back print and a bear claw for the front foot.
Being a little sleep deprived along with too much coffee in my system I started to imagine all kinds of crazy creatures hanging out in my backyard. Maybe it was a baby bigfoot? The Chupacabra? Lock Ness?
After doing a couple quick google searches though I found out it was just a boring old Racoon. I think i’ll let the cats out and let our big cat take him down. Even though they have claws our big cat can take him.
Have a great week!
