Our baby already has her own website

I can’t believe our baby to be (Faith still has a few more weeks to go) is already trying to be like her dad and blogging away from the womb.  Don’t know how she has an internet connection in there but I just ran across her own website where she has been typing away.  I guess it’s good to get kids nowadays up and running with a computer right away :)  Now I just need to get her using a camera and I can have an extra assistant.

Anyway check out what she is up to online at www.faithstagi.com

What a beautiful day!

Sometimes I take for granted this beautiful state we live in. On the weekends I get to see such great locations at weddings but then on the weekend have so much production work to do I am usually inside the office working on the computer all day.

Right now I just got back from a run and decided to sit outside on the deck and drink a nice glass of water and relax for a minute. I think this is the first time I have been on the deck all summer ( and when we first moved here the deck with views were one of the main things I loved about the house). The sun is out and birds are flying by, it’s so peaceful I don’t know why I don’t come out here more. I have my iPhone with me so I can blog, update facebook and check my emails and take in all of the beauty around me. Maybe I should move my office out here :)

I think I am going to have to get out here every morning to start the day, the sun feels so great.

I hope everyone has a prosperous and fufilled week!

Another great weekend of wedding just flew by

Wow, I can’t believe this weekend is already done.  Its about 9:00 on Sunday evening and I am just cleaning up my office a little bit organizing and getting ready for the coming week.  Today was a very nice and relaxing day, I got to unwind a little bit after 2 fun weddings.  Everything started off on Friday with a wonderful wedding for Christina and Ricardo in San Ramon.  They are friends with a couple we photographed a few weeks ago at Leal Vineyards and it was so nice to see a lot of the same people at the wedding, by the end of the night I really felt like I was old friends with everyone.  It was a great day, Ricardo and Christina are such a sweet couple and so cute together.

On Saturday I was down in Pebble Beach for a beautiful wedding at the Inn at Spanish Bay.  Such great views for a wedding, it is a photographers paradise to shoot at.  Jimmy and Grace had an awesome wedding and such a cool and contemporary design to the day.

We have been working like mad over here every day of the week to keep up with all of the production work for the wedding we have been shooting and are almost done with a bunch of recent weddings.  This week keep checking the blog for tons of new photos and slideshows!  We should have new photos every day so check back (also if you want to add our RSS feed just click the RSS link from the links tab at the top of the page, its the easiest way to keep updated with out blog)

I wish you all the best this week!

Thank you to all of our wonderful family and friends

This year has been an amazing year so far.  Our business has been expanding and we have been able to work with so many wonderful clients.  And on a personal level my wife and I found out we were pregnant on Jan 1st, what a great way to start the year off.  The experience of about to bring a baby into this world has been a wonderful one so far, and I really have all of my wonderful family and friends to thank for all of your support over this year.  It has been a very busy crazy year with work and also getting ready for the baby (lots of painting projects to get the house ready and all other kinds of projects have came up over the past few months).  I really couldn’t have done it without all of the help from my family and friends.

The great support I have from everyone really makes me feel so blessed.  I remember when we first found out we were pregnant and we went out to Babies R Us to go shopping.  I couldn’t believe all of the things that they said you needed for a baby and how expensive everything was.  The last month our family has thrown Lisa a few showers for the baby and it blew me away how generous and supportive everyone was.  Gifts came from everyone even people we haven’t seen in awhile.  Sometimes since we both work so much we don’t get to see our family or friends as much as we would like and I didn’t expect the great turnout at the shower that we got, it really showed how much everyone loves us and made us both feel so great!

We are in the final month now and I really can’t wait to bring our baby home and introduce her to all of the wonderful friends she will have.  Thank you all for your support!

Here are a few quick photos of the final baby room, I think we just about have everything done!

Love,  Mark
