Roaring Camp Wedding

Joey had a wedding up at Roaring Camp recently for Julie and Duc.  Congrats guys it looked like a really fun wedding.  Roaring camp is up in the mountain in Felton and is a really cool place to have a wedding.  You can get married up in the redwood grove and get to take a train up the hill to the reception site.  The entire wedding party hops on the train from the main area (which is all setup like a old west town) and take about a 20 minute ride up the hill to a beautiful redwood grove.   Here are a few photos from the day:

Congrats Jimmy and Belinda

Jimmy and Belinda were married on Saturday at Clos La Chance winery in San Martin.  Clos La Chance is a beautiful winery back against the hills in San Martin.  They have gorgeous views surrounding the winery and a great main building.  The attention to detail there is amazing, there are so many great places to shoot at.  We captured some awesome images of the day and i’ll share more later.

Have a great week!

4th of July Parade

We have only lived in our neighborhood for about 3 years now, when we first moved in I heard they had a parade on the 4th with floats that some of the streets made.  I have always wanted to check it out but other plans always seem to come up.  This year I was able to stop by for a minute and check it out.   I was very impressed, everybody was lining the streets in their front yards on chairs and the floats were pretty amazing.  I was very impressed with the spirit of the community and how many people turned out for the parade.  This was the 40th year they have had the parade and I can’t wait to check out what is in store for next year!  It made me feel like I was on the small street in Santa Cruz I grew up on where we always had block parties and BBQ’s.  Everyone knew everyone and it was a great place to grow up.  Even though we are just barely getting settled in I do really love our neighborhood, it is a very friendly place to live and going to be a great place to raise our kids.  Here is a slideshow of some of the floats:

Great wedding coordinator

Here is one more shot from Nich and Catrinas wedding of me with and Crystal from Amazae Special Events.I have been able to work with Crystal a lot  over the past few years and she is such a great coordinator to work with, she always keeps the day flowing smooth and takes care of any problems that come up without anyone knowing.  If you are looking for a coordinator check her out (and if you don’t think you need a coordinator believe me, it  is such a huge help on your wedding day to have a coordinator.  On your wedding day you should be focused on having fun and enjoying the day not dealing with little problems, it really is money well spent)
