Welcome to the Stagi Imagery blog! My name is Mark Stagi and I am the owner and one of the photographers for Stagi Imagery. I started this business over 10 years ago to create fresh and creative wedding and portrait photography. Over the past 10 years our business has grown to now include a few other photographers and many wonderful clients that we serve. We have been creating award winning images in the Bay Area and beyond and are available to travel worldwide. It has been a huge blessing for me to be a part of such wonderful events in my clients lives and I will share some of the fun moments through my blog.

We will share many photos of events and other fun stuff that we are up to in the studio. I will also share a little about myself so you can get a little peek into the always unpredictable life of a wedding photographer and business owner. Our blog is updated often so check back later! I wanted to move this post back up to the top for a little while so everyone can view our last year in review. I also added a little shorter 2009 video so if you only have a few minutes check out the first video for some of my favorite moments of 2009. For all of our most current posts look below this one.

2009 it was nice to know you, you came quick, flew by in a second and are already a distant memory. We were able to shoot a lot of really amazing weddings in 2009, got to see some of our past clients and friends at weddings and made some new friends along the way. Thanks to all of our great clients for letting us into your lives, a wedding is such a huge day in your life and we are grateful to be able to capture memories of your day. It’s always hard for me to pick some highlights of a full year, I have so many favorites from each day that I normally have a list in the thousands of what I love. So here is a quick little show with some of our highlights of 2009.

Wednesday Weddings – Clos LaChance Winery

March 4, 2010 – 10:29 am

To continue our Wednesday feature of a local venue we love today we are showing a great winery tucked back in the hills of San Martin (and for everyone who doesn’t know San Martin its just a little outside of Morgan Hill). Clos LaChance is a definate gem, although it isn’t too far off 101 you feel like you are out in the Italian countryside. The grounds are spacious, they have 100 acres of lush vineyards and golden hillsides with majestic green oak trees. The also have an awesome Mulberry Grove with a fountain in the middle it gives you a very old world feel to it and is perfect for your cocktail hour. Dinner and Clos LaChance’s hand-crafted wines are served on the Terrace, surrounded by views and beautiful gardens. The terrace not only gives you a beautiful view of the grounds in the evening but also the detail to the main building all add to the charm.

One month already

I can’t believe it’s already been one month since our son was born. I know it seems time goes by faster the older you get but this last month really, really, really flew by quick. With 2 babies in the house things are just going by at the speed of light! I know I have been slacking on my daddy photographer duties, hopefully now that we are getting used to having 2 I will pick up the camera more and get some good footage of him to post. In the meantime here is a shot from a few weeks ago of him peacefully sleeping :)

The Ranch Golf Club, San Jose

To continue our wedding Wednesday’s posts I am going to highlight another venue I love shooting at, The Ranch Golf Club. Love is in the air

With valentines day just passing, love is still in the air. When we first started Stagi Imagery 11 years ago and were trying to figure out what to do for a logo my wife and I decided to have a heart as the logo. It doesn’t have much to do with photography but at the same time has everything to do with OUR photography. When we started this business it was all about the heart, being passionate about what we were creating and putting everything we had into creating the best images in the world for our clients. We still have the same basic beliefs today, we want to create the most amazing images for you and capture a slice of your life. Years down the road when you are looking through your wedding album we want tears of joy to come back to you or if you are looking at photos of your newborn to feel that excitement you felt when holding them in your arms. Photography is such a powerful art form and we are so happy to be able to be a part of all our clients lives.

So this year for Valentines day we are going to do something crazy, we are going to share the love with all of you. Any portrait session from now until 3-15 we are discounting to just $50. This is a huge savings compared to our normal sesison fee’s and a great way to get an awesome portrait session. To see more of our portrait work visit our Bay Area Lifestyle Portrait site. If you don’t need a portrait session for yourself no problem, give one away to a friend. You can give away as many of these discounted sessions as you would like.
